July 13, 2005 – Aug. 14, 2008

Cameron Thomas Boone, 3, of Cypress, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 18, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

We know that God sends angels to earth as messengers. Cameron, for three years, was our messenger of love and trust in God. In the New Testament, Jesus places a child on His lap as an object lesson to His disciples. A lesson on how they must be. Cameron was our object lesson how we must be. Love and Trust. He now sits in the arms of our Lord.

Cameron loved to play soccer and baseball with his neighborhood friends. In the evening, he loved to watch the movie “Cars” and see Lighting McQueen win the big race. Cameron loved going to Chick-Fil-A and playing in the sand box at Willie’s Ice House; he always wanted onion rings, but never ate the batter, only the onion.

Cameron loved to ride his bike until dark. On the weekends, he loved going camping, visiting his grandparents and riding his Jeep Hurricane until it ran out of power.

Cameron will be and is already missed so much. If any of us could give our life in place of his, we already would have. We know he is in a better place, playing soccer and eating Chick-Fil-A with the angels. Cameron, we have and always will love you, and one day we will see you again. With so much love, your Mom & Dad.

Survivors include his mother and father, Amanda and Justin Boone; grandparents, Glenn and Karen Boone, and Ginger and Calvin Engeldinger; great grandparents, Gloria Kocurek, Lydia Boone, and Bobbie and Betty Glasson; aunt and uncles, Lauren Boone, Allen Lindsey, and Nathan Boone; great aunts and uncles, Debbie and Randy Glasson, Marilyn and Greg Nelson, Deb and Al Wetterstroem, Ed and Karen Kocurek, Pat and Billy Bob Sanders, and Barbara Boone and Ray Shumate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network-Brazos Valley, Make a Wish Foundation or the charity or church of your choice.
