March 8, 1940 — May 19, 2003. Services for Bishop Cleo Cox, 63, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Friday at the Assemblage of Praise Church in Bryan. Bishop J. Gregory Jones of Shekinah Temple Church in San Antonio will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan. A memorial service will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Assemblage of Praise Church.

Bishop Cox died Monday in Houston. She was born in Waco and was a minister of Resurrection P.G.T. and a member of the Apostolic Faith Ministries. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Michael S. Cox Sr. of Bryan; a son, Deacon Michael S. Cox Jr. of Boston; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pastor Sharyon Cox, Evangelist Karen Cox Ullah and Zafe Ullah and Prophitess Ginger Cox Williams and the Rev. Johnny Williams, all of Bryan; two brothers, Apostle Daniel Kuykendall of Boston and David Kuykendall of Waco; a sister, Dorothy Horne of Waco; and three grandchildren.
